Styleguide for my 2012 Seniors
Picking out clothes and planning a wardrobe is probably the best part of a senior session. It reminds me of the feeling I used to get playing dressup as a little girl, picking out my mom's heels and mixing and matching all the jewelry and accessories I could get my hands on. That same rush, that same glamorous fun, is how I want my seniors to think of their session. Have fun with it! (But keep in mind that now is probably not the time to experiment with a new style. You still want to look like yourself.)
Bring plenty of different options with you to your session. It's always better to have too much, than too little. Pick out both dressy and casual outfits, or pieces that can be combined in either type of outfit to create different looks. Bring your favorite pair of old jeans that you wear every single day, or a shirt that you absolutely love. We can work with an outfit to help it compliment the background or setting you're in; we can pair different clothing items to give you a softer look, or to make it look bold. But, the most important thing to remember when preparing for your Senior shoot: the more comfortable and confident you feel in what you're wearing, the more you'll be able to relax and have fun during your shoot.
