Meet baby Tate!

This handsome little man made his world debut on January 4, 2011. What a perfect way to ring in the new year! I had the priveledge of photographing the pregnancy, and being able to photograph newborn Tate touched my heart more than anything. It was like watching a story unfold.

With the start of 2011 Portrait Collections is making some huge changes, starting with the blog! What better inspiration than a new year to fill the pages with a fresh start?!

Last year was an incredibly busy year, which I'm extremely thankful for. New clients, new friends and new opportunities made for my best year to date. But, the blog suffered a little bit because of this. I'm not the best multi-tasker!

Now, I want to share everything that has and continues to bring me so much joy by using the blog as a constant update of everything happening at Portrait Collections.

New product and promotional offers will be featured, as well as updates on current promotions and specials, and just some everyday information. Sneak peeks will be shown from recent shoots and friends of the blog will be updated on all the new happenings in the studio.

Two of the most recent and most significant changes at Portrait Collections have been the studio relocation and renovation, and the welcoming of my assistant (and brand new sister-in-law (yay me!)), Laura. We're working hard to create lots of new and exciting props, settings, backdrops, session styles, and specials and services for this year... and this is where you can find them! The blog will keep you updated and serve as a connector between the website and Facebook page for easy access and use.
